AUTOMATIC ROTATING AND ROTARY TENSIONERS IN RUBBER

RH type automatic elements tensioners are automatic devices that serve to maintain the correct tension of the transmission chain or belt, thereby increasing their durability.

They automatically recover any slack in the chain or belt that may develop with use, preventing the appearance of vibrations, noise and breakage due to slack.

These automatic elements tensioners do not require any kind of upkeep and make it possible to save time on maintenance and management of the machinery on which they are installed.

The RH models consist of a base, lever and cap in special, very sturdy, antiseize aluminum alloy with tensile strength of 440MPa.Four elastomers are positioned inside the base, the square of the lever is positioned on them and they are fastened together by the cap.

The feature that makes our RH tensioners unique is that they can be dismantled for maintenance and/or to replace the elastomers.In fact, unlike the steel springs, which last practically forever, the elastomers may, though only after a very long time, lose their initial characteristic. Moreover, in case of overloads where, for reasons not depending on the tensioner (such as improper installation or overload of the transmission) this may cause the lever to separate from the base.With our RH tensions you can simply unscrew the cap and reposition the lever, or replace the elastomers, screw the cap back on and the product will reacquire its initial characteristics.

These tensioners are characterized in particular by certain main features:

-Tensioning angle 30° in both directions of rotation.

-Elastomers with a very high yield point and initial preload to ensure a stroke at the most constant pressure possible.

-Ease of assembly, as they can be fastened to the machine with screws either from the inside or from the outside.

-They are equipped with stop slots to block rotation in case of installation on imperfect or irregular surfaces

-The quality of the materials, care in construction, simplicity of operation and economical price make them an economical, practical, safe product.

The tensioners can be supplied with chain tensioning shoes in polyethylene 1,000,000 UHMW with dynamic dry steel friction coefficient 0.06 or chain tensioning pinions, belt tensioning rollers and idle pulleys.
